Stansted is the furthest of the eight airports we cover, and largely a budget-carrier hub, which means high aircraft turnover and a terminal that can move a lot of passengers through security and immigration at once. We time collection to that reality rather than to the printed timetable alone.
The route north runs primarily via the M25 and M11, a corridor that's usually clearer than the Heathrow or Gatwick approaches but still subject to the M25's own unpredictability. We track your flight from take-off, so a schedule change doesn't need a phone call from you to adjust the pickup.
We see Stansted used for both budget short-haul and a growing number of long-haul routes, and the mix of passenger types — solo business travellers through to full family groups — is wider here than at some of the smaller fields we cover. The Route from Surrey
Stansted is the furthest of the eight airports we cover, taken anticlockwise around the M25 to junction 27 and then north on the M11 to junction 8. The M11 itself is generally one of the clearer motorways in the South East; it is the M25 section that decides how the journey goes.
Timing and Traffic
Around eighty-five minutes in clear conditions, and the northern arc of the M25 between junctions 16 and 27 is the stretch to watch. On an early departure this route is often quicker than the distance suggests, which is one reason we favour setting off before the motorway fills rather than after.

- Which vehicle is best for a Stansted transfer?
- The Mercedes-Benz V-Class is the one we would recommend first, especially given the distance and the family groups Stansted tends to attract. Seven individual seats and genuine luggage capacity mean everyone and everything travels in one car. The E-Class and S-Class cover smaller parties.
- Do you track the flight and wait if I'm delayed?
- Yes. We follow your flight from take-off, so a schedule change updates the pickup without you needing to call. Waiting time is included in the agreed fare, which matters at Stansted where immigration can be slow when several aircraft arrive together.
- Where will my chauffeur meet me?
