Gatwick Airport Chauffeur Transfers

A longer run south, comfortably covered by our chauffeurs day or night for both North and South Terminals. North & South Terminals, day or night.

LGWNorth & South Terminals, day or night

One airport, two terminals, either way covered.

Gatwick splits into North and South Terminals, connected by an inter-terminal transit that adds time many passengers don't budget for. We confirm which terminal your airline uses ahead of the day of travel, so your chauffeur is positioned at the right pickup point rather than the wrong side of the airport.

It's a longer run south than most of the airports we cover, but one we do routinely, day and night — Gatwick's schedule runs deep into the early hours on both the leisure and long-haul low-cost side, and a 4am pickup is held to the same standard as a midday one.

Gatwick also carries a heavier mix of holiday charter and long-haul low-cost traffic than the other London airports, which tends to mean fuller flights and slower disembarkation at peak season. We build that into your collection time rather than working strictly to the scheduled landing slot.

North or South, Confirmed in Advance

We check your terminal against your airline before travel day, so there's no last-minute crossing between North and South.

Covered for Early and Late Landings

Your flight is tracked from take-off, whatever the hour, so overnight and early-morning arrivals are met the same as any other.

Fixed, Transparent Pricing

One agreed fare for the journey, regardless of season, time of day, or how full your flight turns out to be.

Terminals & Meeting Points

Where we meet you, terminal by terminal.

South Terminal
The terminal closest to the M23 spur and the railway station, and the first you reach on the approach from Surrey.
Met landside in the arrivals hall with a name board, past baggage reclaim and customs.
North Terminal
Further into the airport site, reached by continuing past the South Terminal on the approach road. Connected to South by the inter-terminal shuttle.
Met in the North Terminal arrivals hall directly — there's no need to cross to South, provided we have the right terminal in advance.
Crossing Between Terminals
The two terminals are linked by a free automated shuttle running every few minutes, taking a couple of minutes end to end.
Straightforward, but it adds time and luggage handling at the end of a long flight. Confirming your terminal ahead of travel avoids it entirely.

The Journey

The route, the timing, and what we build in.

The Route from Surrey

From across Surrey the approach runs the M25 anticlockwise from junction 11 round to junction 7, then the M23 south to junction 9A and the airport spur. Unlike Heathrow, both terminals sit off the same approach, so the terminal affects where we meet you rather than which motorway we take.

Timing and Traffic

Around 55 minutes in clear conditions. The southern arc of the M25 between junctions 8 and 10 is the section most prone to delay, particularly on Friday afternoons and through the summer holiday peak. We time the journey against that stretch specifically rather than averaging across the whole route.

Early Hours and Peak Season

Gatwick's schedule runs deep into the early hours, and a 4am pickup is held to the same standard as a midday one. In peak season fuller flights mean slower disembarkation and longer baggage waits, so we time collection to realistic clearance rather than the scheduled landing slot.

Common Questions

Gatwick Airport transfers, answered.

How long does a chauffeur take from Surrey to Gatwick?
From central Surrey it is around 55 minutes via the M25 and M23 in clear conditions. We allow additional time on Friday afternoons and through the summer peak, when the southern section of the M25 is busiest.
Which Gatwick terminal do I need, North or South?
It depends on your airline, and allocations change periodically. We confirm your terminal against your airline and flight number before travel day, so your chauffeur is at the right arrivals hall rather than the wrong side of the airport.
What if I land at the wrong terminal for my pickup?
A free shuttle links North and South every few minutes, so it's recoverable. It does add time and luggage handling at the end of a flight though, which is why we confirm the terminal in advance rather than on the day.
Do you cover early morning and overnight Gatwick transfers?
Yes. Gatwick runs a genuinely round-the-clock schedule and overnight arrivals and pre-dawn departures are a routine part of our work there, covered to the same standard as any other journey.
Is my flight tracked if it's delayed?
Yes, from take-off. A delayed landing moves your pickup automatically, and in peak season we also allow for slower disembarkation and baggage reclaim on fuller flights.
Can you take a group with luggage to Gatwick?
Yes. The V-Class is our usual choice for groups or heavier holiday luggage, and we agree the vehicle with you in advance so it fits the party and the cases rather than the other way round.
